Research on minority and women
enterprises obviates the need for
solutions that address the lack of
technology adoption that has hindered
minority and women enterprises from
achieving maximum efficiency and fully
competing in the global economy.
The technology gab was confirmed in the
Urban Institute’s Business Divide Study,
on which Microsoft partnered with the
Urban Institute to better understand the
ways in which minority and women
enterprises used technology. The
Business Divide Study quantified the
opportunity available, finding that if
these businesses maximized use of
technology, the US economy could gain
$200 billion. Each business
participating in the study could add
$10,000 to their bottom line. |
